Accountability
What you can verify before you hire Clean Best
A cleaning company that enters medical centres, childcare centres and schools should be able to prove every claim it makes. These are ours, and how to check them.
The police check clearance number
Provided for the cleaner assigned to your site before their first shift, not after it. Cleaners working in childcare centres and schools also hold a Working with Children Check, and that clearance can be verified by a centre director or principal on the spot.
The certificate of currency
Clean Best carries $20m public liability insurance. Ask and the certificate goes to you or straight to your building manager — you should not have to chase a cleaning company for the document that covers your building.
A written quote before any work starts
A fixed price and a written scope, issued within 24 hours of the walkthrough. Nothing is charged that is not in it. A verbal estimate is not a quote and we do not treat it as one.
The monthly audit result, in writing
Your supervisor walks the site once a month against the scope you signed off and sends you the outcome. If we say the standard is being held, there is a document behind the claim.

Who we are
A Sydney cleaning company built on turning up, doing the work and being reachable
Clean Best Group has been trading since 2015 and works out of 77 Garfield Street, Wentworthville NSW 2145. The idea it started with is unglamorous: most cleaning companies lose clients not because they cannot clean, but because nobody answers the phone when something goes wrong. Everything below is how that idea is actually operated — the vetting, the audits and the quoting. It is process, not promise, and you can check every part of it.
Our base puts us a few minutes from Parramatta and the Western Sydney industrial belt, and within a comfortable run of the CBD, the North Shore, the Inner West, the Eastern Suburbs, the Hills District and the south. That matters more than it sounds. A cleaning company that promises to cover the whole of NSW from a single depot ends up sending whoever is closest, which is how you get a different face every week. We take on the work we can reliably staff with the same person, and we say so when a site is outside our run.
Who we clean for
The bulk of our work is commercial: offices and corporate tenancies, warehouses and distribution centres, strata common areas, medical centres and allied health rooms, childcare and early-learning centres, schools, gyms and fitness studios, and churches and halls. Alongside that we clean homes on weekly and fortnightly schedules and handle end-of-lease work for tenants and agents. Different sites, same operating model — a written scope, a consistent cleaner, and a supervisor who checks the work.
How we hire and vet our cleaners
Nobody cleans a Clean Best site until they hold a current National Police Check. Cleaners assigned to schools, childcare centres or any site where children are present also hold a Working with Children Check, and we keep the clearance details on file so a centre director or principal can verify them on the spot. Every cleaner has the right to work in Australia, is covered by workers compensation, and is paid properly — an underpaid cleaner is a cleaner who will not be there in three months.
Training is done on your site, not in a classroom. Before a new cleaner runs a shift alone they are walked through the written scope by their supervisor, shown the access procedure — swipe card, key safe, alarm code, concierge sign-in — and inducted on the chemicals and equipment for your specific surfaces. Sites with particular requirements, such as infection control in a medical centre or child-safe products in a childcare room, get that training before the first shift rather than after the first complaint.
Our quality system, in plain terms
Every client is assigned a named supervisor with a mobile number. That supervisor audits your site monthly against the scope you signed off, walking the premises the way we walked it when we quoted, and sends you the result. If something is missed between audits, you call the supervisor and we return and fix it at no charge — no form, no debate about whether it was in scope. We would rather absorb an hour of labour than lose a site over a skirting board.
The point of the audit is that we find the drift before you do. Cleaning standards rarely collapse; they erode. A missed vent here, a shower screen there, and eight months later the site looks tired and nobody can say when it started. A monthly walk-through against the written scope is the simplest way we know to stop that.
Insurance and compliance
Clean Best carries $20m public liability insurance and workers compensation cover for every cleaner on the payroll. Certificates of currency go to you or to your building manager on request, usually the same day. We work to safe work method statements for higher-risk tasks, our chemicals are labelled to their safety data sheets, and our cleaners are inducted on your building requirements before they start.
How we quote
It starts with a free on-site assessment. A supervisor walks the premises with you, ideally at the time of day we would actually be cleaning — after hours for an office, before opening for a gym — because that is the site we will be servicing. From that walkthrough you get a fixed written quote within 24 hours, broken into the tasks done every visit and the ones rotating weekly, monthly or quarterly, so you can see exactly what you are buying. The price is fixed and confirmed in writing before the first visit, and there is no lock-in contract: commercial agreements roll with 30 days notice either way, and household schedules can change whenever your life does.
What we do not claim
We do not publish a star rating or a review count on this website. A rating a business writes about itself is not evidence, and a number we cannot show you the source of is worth less than nothing. When Clean Best has real reviews they will sit on a platform the reviewer controls, not in our own markup. We do not hold ISO certification and we do not claim it, and we will not tell you we are accredited by a body that has never assessed us. If a claim on this site matters to your decision, ask us for the document behind it — and if there is no document, we will say so.
If your current cleaner is doing a good job, we will tell you that too. Call 1300 494 983 and we will come and look.
Our people
Nobody sets foot on your site without a police check
Vetting happens before rostering, not after. A cleaner joins a Clean Best site once their National Police Check is current, their right to work is verified and they are covered by workers compensation. Anyone assigned to a school, a childcare centre or any site where children are present also holds a Working with Children Check, and we keep the clearance number on file so a principal or centre director can verify it on the spot.
Induction runs on your premises rather than in a classroom. Before a new cleaner works a shift alone, their supervisor walks them through the written scope, the access procedure and the chemicals and equipment your surfaces need — infection control in a clinic, child-safe products in a childcare room, load-safe practice on a warehouse floor.
- National Police Check before the first shift
- Working with Children Check where required
- Workers compensation on every cleaner
- Site-specific induction, not generic training

Our quality system
A named supervisor, a monthly audit, and a fix-it-free promise
Every client gets a supervisor with a name and a mobile number. That supervisor walks your site once a month against the scope you signed off — the same walk we did when we quoted — and sends you the result in writing. The point is that we find the drift before you do, because cleaning standards rarely collapse, they erode: a missed vent here, a shower screen there.
Between audits, the promise is simple. If something in your scope is missed, call your supervisor and we come back and put it right at no charge. There is no form and no debate about whether it was in scope. If the same issue happens twice, we change the schedule, the method or the cleaner rather than repeating the apology.
- Monthly audit against your written scope
- One supervisor, one mobile number
- Missed work returned to and fixed free
- Recurring faults change the roster, not the excuse

How we work
Six things we do that keep clients for years, not months
None of them are clever. All of them are the things that quietly go missing when a cleaning company gets too big to notice your site.
The same cleaner, every visit
We do not send a rotating pool. Your cleaner learns your building, your access and the things you care about, which is the only way a site still looks right in month nine.
A supervisor with a name and a number
Every client is assigned a supervisor who audits the site monthly against the written scope and sends you the result. You call a person, not a call centre.
Insured, checked and documented
$20m public liability, workers compensation, National Police Checks for every cleaner and Working with Children Checks wherever the law requires them.
Fixed prices, put in writing
We quote after we have seen the site, we put the figure in writing within 24 hours, and that is the figure you pay. Scope changes are agreed before they happen.
Fix it free, no argument
If something is missed, tell your supervisor and we come back and put it right at no cost. We would rather spend an hour fixing it than lose the site.
No lock-in contracts
A rolling agreement with 30 days notice for commercial clients and complete flexibility for households. We keep the work by doing the work.
How it works

FAQ
Questions people ask before they hire us
The checks, the cover, the contract and what happens when something goes wrong.
How long has Clean Best been cleaning in Sydney?
Clean Best Group has been trading since 2015 and works out of 77 Garfield Street, Wentworthville NSW 2145. It cleans offices, warehouses, strata common areas, medical centres, childcare centres, schools, gyms, churches and homes across Sydney metro and regional NSW. The business has grown almost entirely on referral, which is the only growth we really trust. Everything we claim on this page can be checked before you hire us: ask for the insurance certificate and the police check clearance and we will send them.
Are your cleaners police checked and insured?
Clean Best requires a current National Police Check from every cleaner before their first shift, and cleaners working in schools and childcare centres also hold a Working with Children Check. We carry $20m public liability insurance and workers compensation cover, and the certificates of currency go to you or to your building manager on request. The clearance number for the cleaner assigned to your site is provided before that cleaner starts, so you can verify it yourself rather than take our word for it.
Which suburbs and areas does Clean Best cover?
Clean Best services Sydney metro and the wider NSW region from its Wentworthville base, which sits a few minutes from Parramatta and the Western Sydney industrial belt while still reaching the CBD, the North Shore, the Inner West, the Eastern Suburbs, the Hills District and the south. If your site is outside the run we can reliably staff with the same cleaner every week, we will tell you that on the first call rather than promise a roster we cannot keep.
Do I have to sign a lock-in contract with Clean Best?
Clean Best does not use lock-in contracts. Commercial clients work on a rolling agreement with 30 days notice on either side, and residential clients can change or stop a schedule at any time. The price is fixed in a written quote before the first visit, so there is nothing to renegotiate later and no term to serve out. It also keeps the standard honest: if the work slips you can leave, which is a sharper incentive than any twelve-month contract.
What happens if we are not happy with a clean?
Clean Best returns and re-cleans anything missed from your written scope at no charge — call your named supervisor and it is booked, with no form to fill in and no argument about whether it was in scope. A supervisor also audits your site monthly against the scope you signed off and sends you the result, so most problems are found by us before you notice them. If the same issue recurs we change the schedule or the cleaner rather than repeating the apology.
